The Challenge:

We are seeking a talented Site Superintendent to add to our construction team in the National Capital Region. Exp Federal’s Superintendents coordinate, schedule, and supervise construction projects from development to completion.

Principle Areas of Responsibility:

  • Must be able to develop and implement QC plans, safety plans, and schedules.
  • Demonstrated experience and competency applying the principles of UFGS 01 45 00.00 (Quality Control) and EM 385-1-1 Safety & Health Requirements.
  • Coordinate construction projects, including scheduling meetings and reviewing project documents as needed.
  • Collaborate with administrators on the supervision of construction operations.
  • Responsible for developing dig permits, outage plans, etc. as needed to schedule the work with the end users.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite work to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years construction experience
  • Understands all facets of the construction process
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Preferred QCM Trained, OSHA 30 Hour trained, Trade License (Electrician, Plumber, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance is required.

Desired Skills

  • Proven work experience in US Government construction management
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
