Title: Assembler / Packager

Pay Range: $16.00 - $ 17.50

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Summary: Responsible for assembling and packaging the highest quality dental product for inventory and shipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Buffs dental appliances to Great Lakes standards.
  2. Assembles dental products.
  3. Packages assembled product for warehousing and/or for shipping.
  4. Labels and packages component items and finished products.
  5. Completes production, quality and inventory control documents as required.
  6. Cross-trains in other department functions and fills in as required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Minimum Requirement for this Job:

  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiple & divide)
  • Dependability
  • Teambuilding skills
  • Dexterity and hand eye coordination

Equipment Used:

  • Hand piece
  • Lathe
  • Computer

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to review data, draw conclusions and make suggestions based on data.
