Learning Coaches are teachers at heart, with none of the daunting duties of a traditional teacher.

You are a great candidate for this job if you can:
  • Instruct and assist students (one-on-one) on all academic subjects (ELA, Algebra, Geometry, etc.)
  • Work with students from diverse backgrounds who may be considered at-risk
  • Communicate professionally verbally, in writing, and through email
  • Administer discipline fairly
  • Learn and use specialized software, websites, and databases
  • Use data to make sound decisions regarding student academic growth and development
Qualifications:
  • Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable
  • Tutoring and/or teaching high school students experience (minimum one year)
  • Minimum: Associate's degree in education or related field
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in education or related field
