We are currently seeking a High School Teacher for a full-time position in our Germantown, Tennessee location. This role is key to helping adolescents achieve their individual lives worth living.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 3:00 pm

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, licensure/certifications, scheduled clinical hours, etc.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Teaching license required.

Beneficial Skills & Experience:

  • Prior Teaching experience (Highly Preferred)
  • Prior experience working in mental health, and/or a degree in mental health or a similarly related field (Highly Preferred)
  • High school teacher who can teach/support higher-level math (Algebra 2, Pre-Cal) and higher-level science (Chemistry, Physics)
  • Solid computer and basic technology skills
  • Familiarity with Google applications and other computer platforms
  • Candidates must have great organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and be able to multitask.

Job Duties:

  • Teach/support High School curriculum.
  • Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive environment.
  • Follow established classroom procedures to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Manage/implement/write educational curriculum to meet the educational needs of each student according to their abilities.
  • Correct assignments daily for each student
  • Completes all testing, assessments, and paperwork for each student.
  • Monitor student behavior according to the behavior system already in place.
  • Enforce rules and procedures to maintain an environment conducive to learning.
  • Effectively communicates with others on the treatment team.
  • Participates in treatment team meetings with clinical staff.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
