JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Server

Reports To: FOH Manager

Server in a fast paced environment. 12 steps of service is a must
Must be available to work ALL HOLIDAYS. We have a large menu featuring many local seafood options. We serve craft cocktails and beer. We also have a large wine list that you will need to become familiar with. You will need to be able to lift large heavy trays filled with food and/or drinks. We have 2 floors of dining, so must be able to go up and down stairs.

We host private events for rehearsal dinners, after wedding brunches, and bridal showers, etc. Prior Banquet Staff experience a plus.

JOB REQUIREMENTS ; REQUIRED SKILLS

* Must have knowledge of proper table and/or bar service.

* Must be willing to work a flexible schedule with the emphasis on weekends and holidays. Thursdays to Sundays.

* Must be reliable, have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

* Must be neat, clean, professional, appearance.

* Must be team oriented, good team player and good character.

* Must have own transportation.

* Strong customer service orientation and skills.

* Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.

* Excellent listening skills.

* Ability to multi task and prioritize.

* Ability to exert physical effort in transporting and placement of tables and chairs for events.

* Ability to work without direct supervision. Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with other departments, with respect to the chain of command.

* Must possess mature, professional demeanor to interact with staff and guests.

* Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
