Cornerstone is currently seeking multiple Security Consultants to fulfill critical responsibilities in support of the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Security Forces (SF) criminal history record information and law enforcement support programs. The consultant will be instrumental in providing comprehensive support including requesting, receiving, inventorying, tracking, and auditing law enforcement records and criminal investigations for accurate entry into Department of Justice (DoJ) and Department of Defense (DoD) databases. Key duties also include conducting compliance reviews, managing records, and performing data entry. Additionally, the Security Consultant will develop instructional materials and deliver training on criminal indexing policies and procedures to military and civilian personnel assigned to DAF criminal indexing cells, task forces, or field units. Qualified candidates should possess significant expertise in information and records management, with proficiency in utilizing government computer databases and other relevant sources. This position requires a proactive approach to collecting, analyzing, and presenting priority information to support global law enforcement missions. The primary place of duty for this role will be at the Russell Knox Building, 27130 Telegraph Rd., Quantico, VA, or another designated location within the National Capitol Region.

Job Summary: Cornerstone is seeking mid to senior level Security Consultants to oversee and lead advanced security assessments, law enforcement, and criminal justice operations and training. This position involves strategic development and execution of training programs, authoring and reviewing organizational procedures, and advanced evaluation of risk management methodologies. Candidates must have extensive experience in creating and updating comprehensive lesson plans and guides, and delivering training in person, via Mobile Training Teams (MTT), and virtually. Training topics encompass advanced law enforcement practices, law enforcement IT systems (e.g., evidence tracking, biometric collection, DoJ system access, etc.), administrative and criminal indexing, complex case management, and advanced records management.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and conduct comprehensive security management and assessments.
  • Develop, conduct, and oversee advanced training sessions, both virtual and in-person.
  • Establish and review guidelines for curriculum development and training.
  • Conduct in-depth evaluations of risk management and assessment methodologies.
  • Prepare and deliver high-level briefings to senior leadership.
  • Conduct extensive research and prepare detailed reports and special studies.
Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 6, ideally 10 years of relevant and specialized experience in security management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing complex security projects and training programs.
  • Candidates must have and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Skills:


  • Extensive Experience in Security Management: Expertise in conducting comprehensive security assessments and managing advanced law enforcement and criminal justice operations and training programs.
