The Community Health Center of Franklin County (CHCFC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable healthcare services to underserved communities. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Position Summary:

The Dental Hygienist will provide preventive dental care to patients of all ages, including cleanings, screenings, and education. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to serving underserved populations and a passion for promoting oral health.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing
  • Take and develop dental X-rays
  • Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene
  • Current state dental hygiene license
  • Excellent clinical skills and patient care abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a community health center setting preferred
  • Bilingual skills a plus
