Safety Specialist

Purpose: As a Safety Specialist you will monitor and inspect construction sites to ensure compliance to laws and regulations related to applicable licensing ratios, codes, and specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor construction sites to ensure adherence to safety standards, licensing ratios, building codes, or specifications.
  • Interpret all applicable state, city, or municipality regulations related to licensing and ratio regulations, and ensure adherence to those regulations.
  • Provide a daily report to leadership around licensing compliance.
  • Travel to construction sites.

Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of construction materials related to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • General knowledge of licensing requirements related to the mechanical trades and associated regulations and ratios.
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to implement solutions and guidance to maintain compliance.
  • 4+ years of experience as law enforcement, construction inspector, code enforcement, or trade license management preferred
  • Willingness to obtain journeyman or master plumbing license
