Job Title : Cybersecurity Analyst - Application Security, Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Management

Job Type : W2 / C2C / 1099

Experience : 5-10 Years

Location : Fortworth, Texas

Responsibilities:

  • Proven hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and ethical hacking.
  • Deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, including identification and mitigation techniques.
  • Practical experience with a variety of security testing tools and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex security data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Kali Linux and its security testing toolkit.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, or similar.
  • Experience in application security, penetration testing, or a similar role.
  • Develop and maintain custom security testing scripts and tools to enhance our security testing capabilities.
  • Stay current on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, with a strong focus on OWASP Top 10.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, and remediation recommendations, and communicate these to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
