The Housekeeper at Hueston Woods Lodge & Conference Center is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the facility. This includes guest rooms and public areas. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms, including replenishing supplies and amenities.
  • Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and follow safety procedures.
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust public areas, hallways, and staircases.
  • Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
  • Assist with laundry services, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
