Location: Detroit, MI

Shift: Day Shift

Pay: $45-$50/hour

Position Overview:

HiFyve is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at our 24/7 facility. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of electrical systems, including lighting, pumps, VFDs, and other industrial equipment.
  • Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate new electrical installations.
  • Demo and remove old or unused electrical systems and bus ducts as required.
  • Ensure all work complies with national and local electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Prioritize safety in all aspects of work, adhering to company and industry standards.
  • Participate in training on low voltage instrumentation and PLC systems to support ongoing learning and development.


Qualifications:

  • Proven industrial experience in an electrician role.
  • Strong knowledge of national and local electrical codes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical components and systems.
  • Experience with running conduit, pulling wire, and terminating electrical installations.
  • Capable of demoing old and unused electrical systems safely.
  • Commitment to safety and willingness to follow all safety protocols.
  • Willingness to train on low voltage instrumentation and PLC systems.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with instrumentation and PLCs is highly desirable.


Some weekend work may be required; 24/7 facility
