Position Summary

The Operations Specialist – General is responsible for a range of duties, all of which support the Operations endeavors such as Titling, Auditing, Underwriting, Insurance, and other Administrative duties. Continually ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives and representing the company’s core values.

Duties and Responsibilities

What you will do:

The qualified individual will work as an integral part of the Operations team to perform the following essential job functions:

  • Attend virtual online meetings via Microsoft Teams and appear on screen with colleagues.
  • This position is full time in office, M-F with availability to work flexible hours during the week and some Saturdays.
  • Provide support with different titling functions.
  • Provide support with underwriting.
  • Provide support with auditing leases.
  • Prepare and manage collections packets.
  • Prepare monthly reporting as needed.
  • Provide support to team members through our internal help desk system.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

What you should have:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Willingness and ability to present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner always throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and a team player
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills including writing and verbal.
  • Excellent computer literacy in MS Office suite of products and software applications including SharePoint, Back Office and Manage America.
  • Must maintain a valid driver license and clean driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation to work.
  • Must maintain an active and working personal mobile phone.
  • A growth mindset; always testing and learning.
  • Property Management background is preferred
  • Willingness and ability to present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner always throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.

Certain positions with sales and leasing responsibilities are provided with a commission plan or an override program.
