We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team.
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for various tasks such as receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Unload and inspect incoming shipments.
Verify the accuracy of shipment contents against packing lists and purchase orders.
Report any discrepancies or damaged items.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Label and record the location of inventory.
Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.
Report inventory shortages and discrepancies to management.
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
Work closely with other warehouse associates and departments to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
