Responsibilities
As a Childcare Van Driver, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:
  • Assist children into and out of the van; ensuring seat belts are fastened and child safety seats are in place and good operating condition.
  • Follow established routes, schedules, and procedures ensuring the safety of children at all times.
  • Ensure the children are picked up and dropped off with their safety as a primary focus.
  • Ensure that children are not left unsupervised within or outside of the vehicle.
  • Ensure Celebree vehicle policies and federal, state, and local ordinances regulating road safety are met.
  • Confirm all children are accounted for at all times by performing name-to-face checks.
  • Interact with children in a friendly and supportive manner using childrens names with appropriate tone of voice.
  • Present a positive and professional image at all times.
Qualifications
  • 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • First Aid & CPR certified
  • Teacher qualification preferred
