We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic team. Job Summary: The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our network of auto dealerships. They help process timesheets, maintain accurate employee files, ensure compliance in new hire and compensation-related paperwork through our payroll and HR systems, including following up with proper people, communicating and completing all steps in the onboarding process for new hires.and ensure payroll checks are accurate and secure. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll administration and a solid understanding of payroll regulations and best practices. While not required, top candidates will have prior experience processing payroll in Reynolds and Reynolds.  Responsibilities: Coordinate with on-site dealership offices to timely process payroll for all dealership employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Maintain and update employee payroll records, including deductions, bonuses, and benefits. Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management promptly and professionally. Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll processing. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation as required. Collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee personnel files Ensures employee sick/vacation time is available Ensures compliance in new hire and additional paperwork for current employees through our online system Performs other duties as assigned This job description summary outlines core aspects of this position, but additional duties may be required on a routine basis. Job Requirement:Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus. Minimum of 1+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably within the auto dealership industry. Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook and Excel) General knowledge of payroll laws and regulations. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
