The ideal candidate will have a passion for engaging with clients dealing with substance use and mental health issues, along with specialized skills in wound care.
**Responsibilities:**- Provide compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to clients within a behavioral health setting.- Perform wound care procedures with precision and expertise.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Engage and support clients in their recovery journey, fostering a therapeutic and empowering environment.- Maintain accurate documentation of client assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
**Qualifications:**- Valid LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania.- Previous experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred.- Proficiency in wound care techniques and procedures.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.- Compassionate and nonjudgmental attitude towards individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges.- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
