Position Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced professional with strong operational aptitude to provide wide-ranging IT Support to the Family Office team. This is a newly created position that reports to the Director of Operations and the Director of Administration.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Work collaboratively with the principal's team.
  • Offer White Glove IT support to the principal and family.
  • Offer hands-on support to the Family Office team and Property Managers on all IT issues.
  • Help implement best IT practices and offer innovative and security-focused solutions.
  • Help implement and train team members on new technology, systems, and security procedures.
  • Manage and execute special IT projects as requested.
  • Liaise with key IT vendors.
  • Travel to the principal's other domestic properties outside Florida.
  • Assist in building out a network and advising on hardware and software for the Florida properties.
  • Set up network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points.
  • Advise on and implement security best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in IT or a related field.
  • Professional experience within the network and infrastructure space.
  • Multiple, verifiable references.
  • Significant experience with hands-on IT support work, set up networks and systems, and coach colleagues with less IT knowledge.
  • Systematically organized and efficient
  • Self-starter who can juggle multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Discretion, sound judgement, anticipatory to the needs of the team.
  • A detail-oriented approach to documentation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Schedule:

Generally, Monday through Friday, business hours, with flexibility for some after-hours support.

Compensation:

Compensation commensurate with experience, $135K+ base salary with benefits that include an annual discretionary bonus, a generous healthcare stipend, PTO, paid holidays, and sick days.
