Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol Duties:
    • Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, including hallways, lobbies, corridors, and parking areas to ensure safety and security.
  • Guest and Employee Safety:
    • Respond promptly to any security issues, alarms, or emergencies, providing assistance and support as needed.
  • Incident Reporting:
    • Document and report any incidents, suspicious activities, or security breaches.
    • Maintain accurate logs and records of all security activities and incidents.
  • Access Control:
    • Monitor and control access to restricted areas.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service to guests and employees.
    • Address guest inquiries and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary; experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
    • Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred but not required.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
    • Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Unarmed Security Guard Card/License (PILB Registration)
