We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Director to oversee the Food and Nutrition Services Department in our Emerald Crest Memory Care facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, training auditing and directing the overall operation of the department across the 3 campus locations. Travel will be required between campus locations of Minnetonka, Burnsville and Shakopee. This position will work a variety of hours and days to ensure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis in accordance with resident satisfaction. The Culinary Director will work in coordination with clinical and activity departments at each of the locations as well as the Corporate Culinary Team to assist other Cassia facilities as needed.

Culinary Director Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College Associates Degree or Culinary school degree preferred.
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from Culinary school, or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to industry and department.
• Participate in on-going continuing education each year for self-development and to maintain necessary certifications.
• High volume, high-end scratch cooking experience.
• Supervisory experience, preferred.
• Must have successfully passed the Safety and Sanitation Examination and met the qualifications for Certified Food Protection Professionals (ServSafe), per state requirements.
