Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCenturum Information Technology (Centurum) has a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Logistics Analyst in Charleston, SC. The Logistics Analyst candidate will bring logistics experience and contribute to enhance product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. You will be expected to provide expertise in equipment accountability in accordance with Department of Defense procedures as well as demonstrate hands-on skills and abilities on a regular basis. The Logistics Analyst will integrate within NIWC LANT teams of divergent skillsets in performing discrete tasks and projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
Personnel will be tasked with supporting Naval Information Warfare Center, Atlantic (NIWC LANT) in the following:
•             Coordinate activities of distribution warehouse and other departments, as needed, and analyze requests to prioritize program supported requirements.
•             Provide logistics support keeping with US Navy supply standards and expediting.
•             Provide logistics support in accordance with Government style warehouse operations and Government Supply Depot-Level Reparable (DLR) supply chains and processing.

Required Skills/Years of Experience
Requires a minimum of six (6) years Material/logistics operations experience, including in-depth Inventory skills.  Experience in Government shipping/receiving with a strong understanding of international shipping requirements, OCONUS shipping codes and other special requirements for unique to OCONUS shipping events. Experience with Government transportation. Working knowledge of the US Navy casualty report (CASREP) system and the respective levels of priority as related to MILSTRIP processing. Familiarity of Financial Management and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance. Must have strong computer skills with highlights in MS Office.  Support emergent data calls, as required.

Preferred Skills
Minimum of two (2) years of direct work experience with CMPro, or similar database technology to enter and track configuration data.
•              Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
•              Experience with DoN/NIWC Atlantic Configuration Management.
•              Familiarization with IGC – Integrated Data Environment/Global Transportation Network Convergence.
•              Familiarization with NIWC LANT Commercial/Military SATCOM systems desired.
