Driver

Safe Driving Practices:
  • Drive safely in various weather conditions.
  • Navigate a variety of routes throughout the city while adhering to a time schedule.
Patient Care and Transport:
  • Load and unload patients via wheelchair and stretcher.
  • Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout the transportation process.
  • Interact courteously with facility staff, including receptionists, nurses, and other personnel.
  • Coordinate efficiently with facility staff to ensure seamless patient handovers
Vehicle Maintenance and Supplies:
  • Report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain the van and equipment, ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and in good working condition before, during, and after every use.
  • Monitor and restock necessary supplies in the vehicle, ensuring it is well-prepared for each trip.
Technology Proficiency:
  • Operate basic cell phone and iPad application functions.
  • Utilize an iPad with routing software for efficient navigation and scheduling.
Internal Communication:
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to address logistical challenges promptly and maintain open lines of communication.
  • Report any issues or concerns promptly to the designated supervisor, contributing to a resolution-oriented environment.
