Web Designer – Federal Contractor, Veterans Administration Support

Department of Veterans Affairs (Contingent Position)

Position Description:

Sprezzatura Management Consulting LLC is seeking a results-driven, creative, and technically skilled Web Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining websites that are not only visually compelling but also comply with Section 508 practices, ensuring accessibility for all users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain websites for internal and external communications.
  • Ensure websites are compliant with Section 508 practices.
  • Use advanced desktop publishing, page layout, and typesetting software for high-quality compositions.
  • Integrate graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video into cohesive multimedia programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather feedback for site improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in web design, Computer Science, Digital Media Arts, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Tableau, JAVA, Perl, and FrontPage® extensions.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in web design and development.
  • Strong technical skills in multimedia integration and graphic design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing websites for the Veterans Administration or similar government agencies.
  • Advanced skills in multimedia programming and design.
