Abatement Technologies, a global company & industry leader in indoor air filtration & restoration equipment, is looking for an energetic and safety minded Facilities & Warehouse Associate. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including but not limited to; any small installs/repairs, assembling/moving furniture, patching, painting, plumbing, etc.
  • Assist with moving employee workstations including connecting/disconnecting any IT equipment.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including packing and unpacking shipments
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
  • Perform repairs on customer equipment 
  • Assists in inventory counts. 
  • Maintain the facility and the facility’s equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion.
  • Complete daily inspection of equipment.
  • Perform customization of air filters to customer specifications.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management
  • Responsible for following all safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

*Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit on a forklift; use hands to finger, handle controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop or kneel. The employee must regularly lift 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. PPE includes: safety goggles, gloves, hearing protection, and CSA approved work boots. Shift assignments will vary. The normal work week is up to 40 hours, but the hours will vary according to production demands. Some overtime may be required. May be subject to changing climate conditions such as heat and cold
