Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Description: Loading and Unloading: CDL Drivers gather, organize, and load items for delivery in a way that protects goods and supports efficiency. Ensuring safe handling during loading and unloading is essential.
Vehicle Maintenance: Routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes or tire rotations, must be performed promptly on the delivery vehicle. Keeping the vehicle in good working condition is vital.
Safe Driving Practices: CDL Drivers adhere to traffic laws and drive in a safe, courteous manner. They log miles, driving hours, and other activities to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
Fuel Management: Managing fuel needs and ensuring vehicles are properly fueled is part of their responsibility.
Route Navigation: CDL Drivers use GPS and other in-field technology provided by the company to navigate or manage routes effectively.
Vehicle Inspections: Regular inspections are conducted to ensure the vehicle and cargo are safe, in working condition, and aligned with laws and regulations. $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly
