Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and occasional forklifts, to move, stack, and transport materials, products, and supplies within the facility. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers using equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of items.
  • Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established safety guidelines for the handling and storage of materials.
  • Receive, verify, and store incoming materials and supplies in designated locations, ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient space utilization.
  • Prepare and package products and materials for shipping, including labeling, wrapping, and palletizing according to specified requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas, ensuring a safe and clutter-free environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines, assisting in other duties as assigned.
Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience operating material handling equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of safety practices and procedures related to material handling and associated equipment.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions, labels, and product specifications.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting:

  • Reports to: Warehouse Operations Supervisor

When and where do we need you?

  • Job Location: Mechanicsburg, PA
  • Job Type: Full-Time/Non-Exempt (ability to earn overtime)

We’re hiring for the following shift :

  • 1st Shift Monday – Friday (8am-4:30pm)
