Our insurance agency is looking for a confident and highly motivated individual that's interested in a great opportunity. As an agent/insurance producer, you will market insurance products or solutions within the community through phone calls, community involvement, and fulfillment of leads. This position earns a base salary + commissions + agency bonuses...and provides opportunity for long term career advancement, or even agency ownership. We are seeking a self-driven salesperson with a desire to make a difference in people's lives. You will be part of a team that is helping to grow the revenue of the office by offering products that people need for their security and peace of mind. You will pursue and respond to the requests and needs of prospects and current clients who need insurance. You will be trained to act as a consultant for businesses and families, evaluating needs and recommending the most appropriate means of meeting those needs.

Responsibilities
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Prospect and generate new business through natural market, leads & referral sources.
  • Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email and potential client lists.
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Share training and education knowledge and expertise with team members.
  • Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.

  • Property & Casualty insurance license is required prior to start date
  • Life & Health Insurance license encouraged (required for Sr. Agent level)
  • Minimum education: Associates degree (OR minimum of 3 years business or sales experience)
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection
