Title: Lead Clinician (Mobile Outreach Clinician)

Region: Escondido, CA (San Diego, CA)

Hours: This is a full-time, hourly position. M-F

Pay: $40. - $44 per hour

Education: Minimum of a master’s degree in social work or related field.

Licensure: Master’s degree and CA BBS registration or license (MFT, LCSW, LPCC) required.

JOB SUMMARY

Serve as Team Lead responsible for overseeing clinicians and peer support staff. Assist the Program Manager in the management of clinic operations and monitoring program outcomes. Collaborate closely with the Clinical Supervisor to offer case consultation to staff members. Deliver direct client services aimed at addressing a spectrum of needs including mental health, medical, educational, social, vocational, and housing.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as a primary resource for program eligibility criteria, documentation and billing requirements, and program policy and procedures.

• Contribute input towards the development of program policies and procedures.

• Provide direct services including assessments, therapy, short-term case management, care plan development, crisis intervention, placements, and field-based services.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and meet the minimum requirements for billable services.

• Develop and maintain work schedules for clinicians and assign tasks as needed to optimize service delivery continuity.

• Conduct administrative supervision sessions with clinicians at least monthly to offer support, training, & ensure compliance with program policies & contract requirements.

• Take responsibility for completing work in accordance with state, county, and program requirements, and ensure accountability among staff members for adherence to these standards.

• Manage monthly peer reviews and engage in quarterly utilization management committee meetings.

• Participate consistently in scheduled program and county meetings, relaying information to the team as appropriate.


QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in a clinical field.
