We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager located in Deer Park, NY at PLX, Inc.

Luxium Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all engineering activities within the company. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute engineering strategies, manage projects, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Engineering Manager will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure successful execution of projects and achievement of engineering goals.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to support business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Operations, and Quality, to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities.
  • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, assisting with problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, creativity, and excellence within the engineering department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering management or leadership roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects and teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Project management certification (PMP) is a plus.
