Description:

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for organization? Our client is seeking a proactive Stockroom Clerk to manage the flow of materials within our stockroom. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing stockroom materials with precision and efficiency. Join us in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring smooth operations in our dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming inventory, meticulously verifying quantity and assigning appropriate locations for storage.
  • Handle all materials safely and adhere to prescribed methods, including compliance with ESD electrical requirements and utilization of safety equipment.
  • Issue parts as needed for kits or store requisitions, ensuring accuracy in part numbers and inventory records.
  • Monitor and maintain Min/Max levels for supply part inventory.
  • Keep the stockroom facilities organized and orderly for efficient access and retrieval of materials.
  • Conduct cycle counts inventory verifications as required to uphold inventory accuracy.
  • Facilitate the movement of materials between departments as necessary, coordinating transport arrangements.
  • Conduct yearly physical inventory assessments to reconcile stockroom inventory.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a stockroom environment.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for inventory management.

Preferred Skills:

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to interpret documents such as kit pulls, store requisitions, and procedure manuals.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with fellow team members.

Computer Skills:

  • Familiarity with ERP software concepts, including electronic scanning and inventory transactions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs overhead.
  • Ability to perform frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and ladder climbing while handling heavy materials.
