Job Summary
Who We Are: California Shakes and Juice Bar We are a family owned, health conscious business bringing smoothies, juices, super fruit bowls to communities in NJ using only the freshest ingredients. In this role, you will welcome customers into the smoothie shop and prepare their orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their order and time at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about health based foods and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome customers into the shop with a smile
  • Take food and beverage orders
  • Explain the menu items to customers
  • Create a variety of health-based drinks, from basic to more complex
  • Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Prep The produce


Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines
  • ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Able to work well with others
