Job Location: Russellville, AR Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 6 months -1-year related experience and/or training preferred.

SUMMARY: Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department. Works with the HR Manager on projects, as assigned. Performs clerical, secretarial, and administrative work for Human Resource related issues. Receives the public, provides customer assistance, data processing, and record keeping. Serves as back-up for other Human Resource duties, as needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties include the following but not considered an inclusive list.

  • Provides customer service by ensuring trust and a positive attitude; meets and exceeds departmental goals
  • Creates and organizes certain projects, as assigned by supervisor
  • Answers phone calls and directs them to correct department or specific employee needed
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Understands/follows FCC policies and serves as an example for all the facility; HR is held to a higher standard and accountability
  • Maintains Maintain a general knowledge of all Human Resource related issues including, benefit information, hiring practices, job descriptions, performance evaluations, licensure, disciplinary and termination process, etc. to better assist employee's HR needs
  • Assists with all HR email boxes and HR scan email, as needed
  • All other duties, as assigned
  • High Level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures.
  • Ability to operate most standard office equipment.
  • Detailed oriented in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Customer Service Driven and the ability to work as a team member.
  • Notifications to regional managers every morning/afternoon of new applicants.
  • Notification to team member for expired Liability Insurance's weekly.
  • Notification to team member for expired Driver's License's weekly.
  • Send out Offer Letters on a daily basis.
  • Add applicants to the New Hire Queue on a daily basis.
  • Complete monthly Employee LEIE Checks.
  • Turnover Report done weekly
  • Assist with ensuring Bulletin Boards are in compliance.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be proficient in basic Microsoft Office products
  • Any similar combination of education and experience
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or 6 months 1 year related experience and/or training preferred.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must be proficient in basic Microsoft Office products.
  • Any similar combination of education and experience
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 6 months -1 year related experience and/or training preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental relations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees and managers.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Extensive knowledge of computer software including Windows Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
