Reports to: Electrical Engineering Manager

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Design Projects: Take charge of complex electrical design tasks, from conceptual design through manufacturing, testing, and installation.

  • Technical Mastery: Apply your deep knowledge to execute and evaluate engineering designs. Leverage your experience with variable frequency drives, servo drives, PLCs, HMIs, and more.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with other engineering and manufacturing personnel, integrating electrical designs with other engineering disciplines.

  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor other engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping to solve new and complex problems.

  • Hands-On Experience: Lead in the selection, implementation, startup, and troubleshooting of industrial control systems and networking devices.

  • Innovation: Explore and integrate new technologies into your designs, optimizing performance and ensuring project success.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in designing industrial control systems for industrial equipment required(15 years preferred).
    • Proven experience in selecting, implementing, and troubleshooting Variable frequency drives, servo drives, PLCs, HMIs, industrial networking devices, and AC/DC motor control techniques.
    • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software for developing schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and more.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.

  • Skills:
    • Advanced problem-solving abilities and a knack for anticipating challenges.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
