The Community Partnership Specialist is responsible for planning, executing and attending Credit Union events, both within the organization and within the community. The Community Partnership Specialist works in a team environment where strong communication and organization skills are necessary to effectively orchestrate events and foster relationships within the community. This position also provides support to the Community Giving Strategy and support for any necessary Community Partnerships’ Team tasks.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Focus on Purpose: Responsible for planning and executing Credit Union Events.
  • Engaged and Collaborative: Engagement Planning Support- Coordinates and collaborates with other credit union teams to support engagement. Serves as a representative of the credit union within the community and is actively visible at credit union events and credit union sponsored events.
  • Continued Growth Support: Supports Community Giving Strategy and helps to develop partnerships within the community.
  • Achiever, and Goal Driven: Scorecard Performance; Organization, prioritization, and execution of tasks to proactively solve problems and to get work done.

Requirements:

  • Previous event planning experience is preferred
  • A minimum education of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office professional Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
