Position Summary:

Are you passionate about shaping the future of medicine? Join us as the Admissions Coordinator for Roseman University College of Medicine (RUCOM) and make a difference

In this pivotal role, you’ll manage and streamline the admissions process, ensuring it aligns with RUCOM’s strategic vision. You'll assist the Director of Admissions by overseeing admissions and student records, and support the admissions committee’s efforts.

Additionally, you'll engage with prospective students to promote RUCOM and help attract a diverse and talented cohort. If you’re organized, eager to drive admissions success, and excited about advancing medical education, this is your opportunity to shine

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure compliance with all LCME and RUCOM standards regarding admissions and enrollment.
  • Process and verify admissions paperwork and records from various sources including postal mail, e-transcript services, standardized testing agencies, and more.
  • Manage application operations requests and process applications for assigned student population.
  • Assist in notifying applicants of admissions decisions.
  • Process student transcripts, which may include data entry and transfer credit evaluations.
  • Maintain admissions guidelines and criteria for application review.
  • Represents the RUCOM at recruitment events and conferences when necessary.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective students and their families by phone, email, and/or campus tours.
  • Provide support to the medical school admissions committee.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the position.
