Supplier Relations Specialist

The Supplier Relations Specialist will help us “Color the World” by providing stellar product supply management support for assigned vendors and product lines which will result in maximum fill rates, meet customer demands, and achieve team and company objectives.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
· Develop and maintain close working relationships with suppliers, sales reps, internal and external customers by providing friendly, timely and accurate communication to maintain and enhance our supply network.
· Monitor and communicate orders to assigned suppliers using SAP transactions to increase sales and accurate order delivery.
· Maintain product inventories and process order changes by using SAP and electronic communication tools to ensure systems remain up to date for accurate order and invoice processing.
· Launch SAP reports including demand report, shipping preview and un-invoiced order reports to meet demand and proactively address issues that may occur.
· Source product availability as needed to ensure customers’ needs are met.
· Provide general support to Supplier Relations including special projects as assigned.
Requirements:· Minimum of 3-5 years of customer service, operations or vendor relations experience required.
· Associate degree or equivalent experience in business or horticulture preferred. High School Diploma or GED Required.
· Intermediate to advanced level experience in Excel, Outlook and Word required; knowledge of SAP system preferred.
· Ability to manage, plan, and organize time effectively to meet customer demands is required.
· Proven ability to work independently and perform work in accordance with team, departmental and company goals.
· Problem-solving and independent decision-making skills are required; ability to manage different opinions and requests while striving for continual improvement.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships.
· Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
· Builds partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
· Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
· Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems .
· Builds strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions .
· Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to sit/stand 100% of the day
· Ability to use fingers/hands 80% of the day
