POSITION OVERVIEW: The Psych Rehab Program Director has comprehensive oversight of our satellite rehabilitative psych programs. Incumbent will affect integrative recovery methods to ensure quality service delivery by recovery staff. The Program Director will:

  • Supervise work assignments of recovery coaches, recovery therapists and certified peer specialists; monitor performance to ensure a client-centric practice focused on meeting outcomes
  • Oversee the daily operation and function of the recovery teams; professional development and clinical evaluation of recovery staff.
  • Strategically structure services to ensure positive client outcomes that aligns with payor requirements.
  • Review and approve daily program’s documentation; monitor for timeliness and completeness.
  • Coordinate resources with partner agencies that advance client outcomes
  • Attend or lead meetings, trainings, provide supervision, etc.

WE ARE SEEKING DEDICATED PROFESSIONALS WHO:

  • Desire to embrace and advance the philosophy and objectives of JFK Behavioral Health
  • Can facilitate a customized and engaging rehabilitation atmosphere for populations having pervasive mental illness and/or diminished intellectual capacity
  • Will ensure outputs from recovery team members fulfills program targets
  • Have in-depth familiarity with the behavioral health system, and can interface with all levels & agents in the system
  • Can be respectful and sensitive advocates for clients, recovery teams and families

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in the behavioral or social sciences; ideally inclusive of studies in social work/welfare, mental health, substance use & recovery, and/or public health
  • 3 years’ work experience in mental health direct service, two years of which must include psych rehab experience.
  • CPRP Certification, or ability to acquire within one year.

SCHEDULE: (1) Full-time; Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm,

LOCATION: 907 N. Broad Street (4x/week); 2742 N. 5th Street (1x/week); 112 N. Broad Street (periodically) accessible to SEPTA
