  1. FUNCTION DEFINITION:
As a key member of our finance department, you'll ensure for the entity HTI the reconciliation of accounts, of bank accounts, review interco, make the reconciliation of interco, calculation of royalties. You will help prepare information for external accounting audit.

As additional scope, you will be a support, back-up to AP/AR Senior accountants of ROC Americas & Canada and you will help FP&A Team for the forecasts and budget of HTI.

  1. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • BA/BS in Accounting or related field a plus.

Work experience:

  • 7+ years’ experience of accounting required.

Quality:

  • Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
  • Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Highly proficient with accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

  1. FUNCTIONS:

  • Review and prepare AR invoicing
  • Reconcile bank
  • Update and reconcile Intercompany accounts monthly with trading partners
  • Prepare and manage balance sheet account reconciliations and use F-03 to clear out closed amounts
  • Processing Payroll entries and working with the HR department to ensure all other benefit entries are prepared
  • Processing monthly and recurring journal entries (update accruals as needed and recurring at beginning of the year and management fees as requested)
  • Prepare royalty calculations and declarations and communicate with Corporate when completed
  • Processing Fixed Assets transactions with depreciation, additions and disposals.
  • Complete monthly close duties assigned by Controller and update month-end close schedule and review of the trial balance
  • Intercompany/Statutory reporting – June and December. Work with Corporate and FP&A team to reconcile WIP, all balance sheet and P&L activity.

  • Backup to AP/AR Senior Accountant on the team

  • Assisting Accounting Controller with annual audit PBC requests
  • Assisting Tax Controller with tax requests

  • Prepare with FP&A team Forecast and budget
  • Provide ad hoc reporting for management

  • Must be able to multi-task and have exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and communication skills, good team member
  • Must be able to work with little supervision at times
  • Comply with quality control procedures, forms, instructions, company objectives and quality policy.
4.0 ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Reports directly to the Accountant Controller.

You will manage one accountant.
