Location: 45 North/Richey Rd Area

Pay: $18.00 to $24.00 an hour depending on the Experience
Job Summary: The Bus Bar Machine Operator is responsible for setup and operation of the MC40 and MZ40 machines. Safety, Quality, Accuracy, Timeliness, Reliability and Thoroughness of work performed; develops good working relationships with the supervisor, co-workers and other employees. Develops working knowledge of the fabrication environment and has ability to respond to change. Work to Continuously Improve the operations of the Department through Lean activities and Improvement suggestions.

Job Description:
  • Performs all tasks assigned for bus machine setup and operation
  • Set up tools in machines according to requirements, adjust as required
  • Performs inspection of finished products, and documents results
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
  • Completes and maintains paperwork for parts
  • Must be able to work independently and meet a planned production schedule
  • Effectively and accurately communicate any safety, quality or manufacturing issues to a supervisor in a timely manner
  • Maintain production area integrity, cleanliness, and organization according to established standards
    Other duties as assigned
