Job DescriptionJob Description

The Mental Health and Wellness Specialist needed in Columbia to assist with the mental wellness program designed for Head Start children, their families, and program staff. Will provide consultative services for families and coordinate adult mental health referrals. Facilitate parent and staff training on mental health topics. Pay is $41,725 to $46,000 based on qualifications.

Job Requirements:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree with a background in social work, counseling, school counseling, psychology, or early childhood education.
  • Prefer Master's degree in Social Services.
  • Must have transportation and be willing to travel throughout the service area. Mileage is paid.
