POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled translator fluent in both English and Spanish to join our production and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring clear and accurate communication between English-speaking and Spanish-speaking staff, as well as translating written materials such as manuals, instructions, and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both languages and a thorough understanding of production and manufacturing terminology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate verbal communication between English and Spanish-speaking staff members
• Translate written materials including manuals, instructions, and safety guidelines
• Assist in interpreting during meetings, training sessions, and presentations
• Ensure translations are accurate and maintain the intended meaning
• Collaborate with production and manufacturing teams to understand terminology and ensure accuracy
• Maintain confidentiality of all translated materials
• Communicate with colleagues to ensure that translations are true to the original meaning
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when translating.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in both English and Spanish
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Proficient in reading, listening to, and comprehending foreign languages; preferably Spanish
