Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Janitor. As a Janitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our multifamily apartment complex. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming common areas, hallways, and entryways.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms, common rooms, and other shared spaces.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with established guidelines.
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of community events or gatherings.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends or evenings if required.
