Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk This role involves assembling orders, preparing goods for shipment, and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments. You will be key in ensuring that HazMat products are handled according to standards and that our shipping operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Fulfillment: Fill customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all products are correctly retrieved, packaged, labeled, and entered into the system.
  • Shipment Management: Record shipment data, verify label accuracy, and arrange transportation. Handle HazMat products with care and according to regulatory standards.
  • Material Handling: Use equipment like manual and electric pallet jacks and pallet shrink wrap machines. Move and organize materials as per production and quality assurance needs.
  • Inventory and Supplies Management: Assist in inventory checks and maintain adequate shipping supplies.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure a clean and safe work environment, complying with safety and SQF standards.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 0-2 years in shipping & receiving or a related field. Experience in the flavor industry is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of shipping procedures and HazMat regulations.
    • Proficiency in using physical and computerized tools for shipping and receiving.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
