Primary Responsibilities. Provide high-quality, trauma-centered care support to clients. Participates in clinical team meetings to advise on client issues and collaborate care. Provides exceptional, high-quality therapy to clients. Completes all documentation, reports, and logs within a timely basis.


Job Description, Roles and Responsibilities, Core Tasks

  • Meet with clinical staff and other treatment team members to support clients by providing input into developing a treatment plan and determining the steps to reduce barriers to treatment.
  • Administration of assessments via Greenspace and NovoPsych.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support during challenging situations.
  • Assist individuals in crisis management and coping strategies.
  • Provide recovery education to clients for every phase of the recovery journey from pre-recovery engagement, recovery initiation, recovery stabilization, and sustained recovery maintenance.
  • Encourage the client to talk about and explore their feelings, attitudes and behaviors.
  • Run virtual group sessions with people undergoing therapy in a clinical setting.
  • Help clients to develop strategies for coping with issues and for making positive changes to the way they think and behave.
  • Document within required guidelines all contacts with individuals in their clinical record.
  • Facilitate weekly therapy groups that promote self-advocacy and allow patients a voice and a forum in which they can express their point of view, share experiences, and communicate their preferences.
  • Calls to patients when they are a no show to scheduled clinical or medical services to foster re-engagement in the treatment program.
  • Assist in linking patients to community recovery resources.
  • Generating comprehensive treatment protocols.
  • Discerning and addressing pertinent causal factors implicated in identified concerns.
  • Conduct individual and/or family therapy sessions.
  • Prompting patients to explore behavior, attitudes and emotions.
  • Helping patients identify potential changes they could make to reduce distress.
  • Complete psycho-social assessments, treatment plans and treatment plan updates, as well as discharge plans within established period
