The Weekend Detox Facilitator will work passionately to ensure all the clients’ needs are being met within the detox level of care. The Detox Facilitator will ensure a successful transition from detox to residential treatment. The Detox Facilitator will coordinate a warm welcome and support when clients are often at their lowest point in their addiction struggles including involving direct care team where needed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate the detox client schedule, encouraging clients to engage and participate
  • Provide clients motivation for group participation and engagement in treatment planning with the clinical and medical teams
  • Work closely with the clinical and family programing staff to help identify strengths and barriers to motivation for treatment of
  • Effectively communicates client concerns/needs as they arise with the direct care teams.
  • Assists completion of Vista Outcome Survey(s) during treatment
  • Assigns mentor to new clients
  • Conducts client orientation, going over policies and procedures as it pertains to ROIs, family visitation,ect. and tour of the facility
  • Conducts additional educational groups for clients throughout the detox level of care stay.
  • Facilitates detox client smoke breaks, and assists as needed
  • Perform daily check-ins with detox client's
  • Assist, facilitate, and coordinate AMA/ACA blockings as they arise.
  • Assist, facilitate, and coordinate client groups when needed
  • Build positive rapport with clients
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of client information and follow HIPAA and PHI


Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma Required
  • CRSS, CAC Preferred
  • Knowledge of programs in Recovery
  • 1 - 2 years’ work experience in a healthcare setting
  • 1- 2 years in a behavioral healthcare setting
  • Must be knowledgeable of applicable laws and regulations governing substance abuse treatment facilities and mental health including, but not limited to, HIPAA and Title 42 - Part
