The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for the operation of the Restaurant(s), Bar(s) and Room Service where applicable, controlling and supervising Restaurant Associates, Bar Associates and Room Service Associates where applicable, to ensure the best possible guest satisfaction, Associate morale, brand and company standards, training and profitability.
  • Provide the highest quality of service to the guests at all times.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Restaurant, Bar and Room Service Staff where applicable.
  • Provide teamwork and Associate morale.
  • Interpret company policies and provide a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety programs and training.
  • Maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas.
  • Ensures that all employees assigned to food & beverage operations are trained and supervised to adhere to all local, state and federal safety and sanitation regulations and laws.
  • Ensures employees receive on-going training to understand guest expectations.
  • Initiate or suggest plans to motivate Associates to achieve work related goals.
  • Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
  • Respond to any guest complaint in a timely, professional and hospitable manner.
  • Other and all duties, projects, and tasks as assigned by employees manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skills and or ability required.
  • 2 years experience in the food & beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma and some college preferred.
  • Must have sold math skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Ability to lead, train and motivate team members.
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills.
  • Must possess solid relationship-building skills, people focused, highly organized and guest centric.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English in regards to oral and written skills.
  • Reliable transportation and valid state drivers license.
