CONFIDENTIAL COMPANY is an established InsurTech partner, we work with 5 of the Top 10 Brokers and have a long list of medium and small clients too. The business vertical is cash positive with a healthy profit margin. The new incumbent would be expected to scale the business.

About the Job

Essential Duties:
  • Secure new large account wins and mine existing large accounts being serviced by CONFIDENTIAL COMPANY
  • Lead the development of enterprise sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth
  • Lead compelling customer/prospect presentations and proposals for development and growth of sales pipeline, achieve Sales Targets and expand customer base
  • Drive strategies aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Promote communication, coordination and cooperation among functions including delivery to realize efficiency and effectiveness, setting the tone for company culture and creating a spirit of unity in the organization.
  • Identify and nurture strategic partnerships to expand market reach and drive collaborative growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to realize business goals and oversee well established teams.
  • Develop and implement high quality, effective business strategies in alignment with short-term and long-term objectives, and the companys overall mission, vision, and values.
  • Ensure revenue metrics and KPIs of revenue targets are met
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify organic and inorganic growth opportunities,
  • Support in equity infusions and raise capital to fund company growth.
  • Drive and Manage pricing strategies to ensure profitability and competitiveness
  • Build relationships with key influencers, develop business insight into and have informed opinions on future strategies of key prospect accounts.
  • Develop and implement a 3-to-5-year business plan to include organic growth and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Board of Directors to set and implement the company's long-term vision and strategy, while ensuring strong governance practices.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence, inspiring and motivating the teams to identify areas for improvement, and deliver high-quality products and services.
  • Represent the company to external audiences, including the media, government officials, and the public, and serve as an ambassador for the organization and its values.
  • Leverage professional networks to grow the business, developing business prospects and revenue opportunities.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the company, such as economic conditions, market trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Oversee brand development and the implementation of effective marketing strategies.
  • Effectively manage contract negotiations, mergers, and acquisitions while ensuring the accurate performance of due diligence practices.
  • Clearly articulate and communicate company vision to internal and external stakeholders, and manage relationships with them.

Qualifications


Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field required; MBA from accredited university strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of previous experience in executive leadership and sales, including leading a company or division with annual revenue of $30MM or more within the large technology solutions industry.
  • 8+ years of managing enterprise sales in North America, management experience of direct and partner sales teams must
  • 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, and executing marketing strategies via trade events, speaking as an industry thought leader, etc. preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in setting and achieving strategic business objectives, building and managing high-performing teams, and driving organizational change and growth

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to implement organizational vision with meticulousness.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets, financial statements, and investor relations.
  • Experience as an Insurance Producer or in a target driven revenue generation role at an insurance/related business will be an added advantage
  • Good to have experience working for an Insurance Carrier OR a Broker/Agency OR Technology/Solutions companies catering to the commercial insurance market.
  • Good to have knowledge on the broader P&C industry and a clear understanding of the complex business processing needs of the industry
  • Must have a good flair for technology and would ideally be someone who has/had experience with embracing technology solutions
  • Must be familiar with consultative selling approaches, relationship management, partner/alliance alignment
  • Must possess demonstrated ability to develop and implement revenue growth strategies
  • Strong leadership and management skills with excellent strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Must be based out of Dallas, TX, and willing to travel extensively within the US as per business demands (60% travel)
  • Strong emotional intelligence to effectively manage conflicts.
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions including finance, marketing, etc.
  • Strong ethical and professional standards, with a commitment to integrity, transparency, and accountability
  • Candidates with sales experience in large-scale technology or insurance solutions will be preferred, although experience in insurance is not mandatory.
