Reports to Inventory Supervisor


Job Purpose


The Inventory attendant under the direction of the Inventory supervisor shall be an integral component that shall focus on inventory management, product scheduling as well as acquiring the necessary resources to comply with the customer’s requirements. This position is the focal point of product and process information and experience is mandatory.


Duties & Responsibilities


· Verify correct information on shipping and receiving materials doing a validation of the location once they are completed either rack on the yard or inside the warehouse.

· Perform cycle counts to make sure the inventory is accurate.

· Keep control of the inventory and collaborate with the logistics department giving them rack locations to process every work order.

· Ensure that the production lines receive the right couplings and protectors based on the WOs instructions.

· Collaborate with Shipping & Receiving department to ensure that the information is accurate and up to date.

· File and maintain inventory documents and records.

· Report any movement made on the warehouse or the yard to the corresponding inventory clerk.

· Make sure that the warehouse inventory is accurate at all times.

· Help inventory clerk to monitor and verify the traceability of the inventory on the warehouse and the yard.

· Always operate the forklift following all the safety regulations established by HSE department.

· Support inventory clerk to create and verify the loading plans for the customer releases.

· Keep the warehouse always clean and organized.

· Other duties as assigned


Qualifications / Competencies


· Education:

o High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

· Years of Experience:

o Must have at least 1-year experience in inventory of pipe, couplings and protectors of oil country tubular goods.

· Job Knowledge:

o Have more than 1-year experience operating forklifts up to 15 tons.

· Personal Competencies:

o Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.

o Employee must be able to travel & work with a flexible schedule which may require over-time. Employee must be able to work with a flexible or rotating schedule which may require over-time when needed.

o Employee must be able to respond to call outs when required.

· Safety:

o Understands all applicable location safety rules and regulations and makes sure that all are being followed.


Physical Requirements & Working Conditions


· Working conditions are split between a professional office environment and a normal manufacturing environment.

· Work involves delegated and operation detail.

· Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner.

· Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.

· Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.

· The ability to work in loud, hot environments/extreme weather while wearing required PPE.

· Ability to see 20-20 when corrected.

· Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
