We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Foreman to join our team.

Job Summary: As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for ground-up high voltage commercial projects. Your primary role will be to supervise a team of electricians, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with established safety guidelines, project specifications, and industry standards. You will play a crucial role in managing project schedules, coordinating with other contractors, and ensuring the successful completion of electrical projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of electricians on commercial electrical projects, including ground-up construction projects.
• Interpret and implement electrical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project workflow.
• Plan and schedule daily tasks for the electrical team, ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment.
• Train and mentor electricians, providing guidance and support to ensure quality workmanship.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to identify and address any issues or deviations from project requirements.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve any technical or logistical challenges that may arise during the construction process.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment usage.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of electrical materials and equipment.
• Monitor project budgets and control costs to maximize profitability.
• Stay updated on industry trends, electrical codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and enhance professional knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman electrician or above with a valid electrical license.
• Proven experience in ground-up high voltage commercial electrical roles.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and tools.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
