Job Description

Our Senior Test Engineers are responsible for ensuring the quality of the applications they are testing. They are involved in creating and executing manual and automated test cases. They help the team adapt to best practices relating to software quality.

THE ROLE:

  • Create and execute manual and automated functional tests
  • Support production releases
  • Maintain automated regression test suites
  • Mentor junior test engineers
  • Help in hiring and onboarding new team members
Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of software quality assurance experience working on web applications, REST APIs and/or Salesforce.
  • Minimum 2 years programming experience with JavaScript, NodeJS, Java, Spring Boot
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript automation framework and/or iOS/Android automation frameworks highly desired.
  • Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multitask on multiple products and projects.
  • Have a multiplier effect on the team. Constant training and upbringing the team.
  • Ability to delegate to other team members
  • Ability to understand system architecture and infrastructure
  • Ability to bring cutting edge technologies, new processes for the betterment of the team.
  • Experience in communicating with other technical teams and on big initiatives and end to end testing.
  • Strong sense of ownership and, urgency, and drive
  • Setup best practices, coding guidelines, tools and other processes which would help team be more productive
  • Encourage healthy discussions within the team and facilitate decision making.
  • Keeping other team members accountable for their areas.
  • Requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent relevant work experience.

Salary Range: $67,000 to $124,000 annually + bonus + benefits. This information represents the expected salary range for this role. Should we decide to make an offer for employment, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
