As a Logistics Specialist you will:

• Manage relationships with and execute decisions regarding needs of customer
• Arrange domestic and international import/export shipments via air, trucking, ocean
• Maintain and cultivate customer and vendor relationships
• Follow-up with shippers and consignees to ensure quality and timeliness of shipments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Basic freight forwarder knowledge
• Air export experience; quoting, booking, documentation
• Ability to learn software programs quickly and adeptly
• Solid customer service skills
• Sharp organizational along with attention to detail and prioritization skills
• MS Outlook, Word, Excel
• Strong ability to handle time-sensitive issues
• Teamwork oriented

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• Pass a security background check
• Operations/Logistics experience (1-3 years preferred)
• Must possess valid identification, preferably a valid driver’s license
